Le Petit Vélo Rouge is a community bike shop based out of Concordia University’s Loyola Campus in Notre-Dâme-de-Grâce. It’s run entirely by volunteers – Concordia students and NDG community members – and exists to empower the local community to embrace cycling as a viable mode of sustainable transportation.

Following 2 tough pandemic years, LPVR needs support to keep the lights on. SAF funding would help the organization continue to (a) operate regular DIY bike repair shifts, (b) refurbish affordable bikes for students and community members in need, and (c) to continue connecting with the many cycling initiatives across the island.

With SAF’s help, we hope to build a community-based culture of sustainable transportation at Concordia, in NDG, and in Montreal at large.
