Violette’s research explores recycling personal food waste to change the properties of bioplastics. Some waste is used to create natural dyes; some is used to add texture; some is used to allow more elasticity or a better resistance; some is used only for the aesthetic of the sample. The accessibility of this exploration could allow different activities with students on campus to introduce them to the subject. It could be interesting to engage with students to change their relationship with waste.
