The Food for Thought Awareness Campaign is an opportunity for us to connect with the students in the Grey Nuns residence in order to better understand their food waste habits. By focusing solely on the cafeteria, we hope to engage with its consumers in meaningful conversations about food, hopefully gaining some insight into their relationship with food. With the help of posters and interactive games at our tabling, the project aims to  educate and bring awareness of how our food choices directly impact the environment and our communities. In this way, our project’s goal is to promote sustainability literacy with an ideology based on environmental consciousness and mindful eating,  thus hoping to lower food loss, and, ultimately, restore and strengthen the resilience of our food systems.
