Eco-Youth is a collaborative gardening program in partnership with Innovation Youth, a local youth center that provides help and support to teenagers age 12 to 24. With Eco-Youth we want to provide these young adults with an opportunity to fully run a sustainable gardening program in which all harvested crops would be given to given to Innovation Youth to be used in their cooking program held at the center.

Eco-Youth is designed as a yearly program operating in a summer phase from June to the end of August followed by winter phase starting on September 1st and ending end of March. In each phase, participants learn by attending workshops held at the Concordia Greenhouse and by actual practice. These two distinct phases also permit the learning of the variations of maintaining an outdoor garden in a natural environment versus the artificial environment of the Concordia Greenhouse during a winter climate.
