The Climate Crisis AI Hackathon is a global online event that will bring together beginners and experts to tackle Climate Change related problems using AI.

In addition to the immediate goal of producing tangible and impactful proof of concepts, through these talks, workshops, and collaborative projects we aim to catalyze and educate students at Concordia as well as people from all over the world on the state of the climate crisis and of the necessary actions in order to counteract it. Talks will include a roundtable conversation with some of the key organizers of the climate marches in Canada, namely Montreal’s record-breaking 500,000 person march, discussing how to build community in the face of times of isolation and uncertainty.
