Working Together Towards Reconciliation

In seeking to establish reciprocal and respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous led organizations, this project will result in a mural representing reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. This project will be led by youth from Press Start, a Pointe-Saint-Charles community organization, the Montreal Indigenous Community Network, an Indigenous community organization and Canadian Roots Exchange, a national non-profit. The project is based on collaboration and co-creation, as well as relationship-building and cultural awareness as central aspects of working towards reconciliation with Indigenous communities and is seen as a first step in beginning the work of reparation and as part of anti-racism work.
