The School of Community, Public Affairs in collaboration with the Aboriginal Students office (SCPA), the First Peoples Studies program and First Peoples on campus will be holding a public exchange about First Nations education as a part of Concordia’s Indigenous Awareness Week. The panel will be an opportunity for speakers and attendees to share their experiences of decolonizing indigenous education within the framework of contemporary politics of the 21st century, where the Indian Act still gives the Canadian federal government significant control over indigenous education.
