Welcome To Our Application Portal
Applying for funding from the Sustainability Action Fund is now a four-step process:
.

Step 1: The Drafting Phase
Download this PDF document and open it in this free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to create a draft copy of your application. This is helpful in developing your project before submitting the final version. If you have any questions or would like to meet with our Project Coordinator about the application process and your project idea you can contact them at projects@safconcordia.ca

Step 2: Discussion and Feedback
Once the draft application is complete, send it to our project coordinator – projects@safconcordia.ca – for feedback. They will provide suggestions based on our criteria so that your application has the highest chances of being approved by the Board of Directors.
Draft applications should be sent to the project coordinator at least one week before each funding period deadline. This leaves ample time for you to edit based on the feedback and before submitting your final application (Step 3).

Step 3: Submit Application
Applications are reviewed after the application period deadline by our Board of Directors. Access our Funding Schedule to make sure you don’t miss any deadlines!
NOTE: Any incomplete applications that are submitted run the risk of not being considered for funding. This includes, but is not limited to missing information; vague, inaccurate, or confusing information, and/or incomplete budgets. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to send a draft of your application to the Project Coordinator as early as possible!

Step 4: Funding decision
The Board of Directors will meet after each funding period deadline to review, discuss, and allocate funding for all received applications. Once a decision on a project is reached, a notification will be sent to applicants via email.
