The Global Game Jam is a 48 hour long game making marathon that was held from January 20th to the 22nd. The Sustainability Action Fund and Technoculture, Arts & Games (TAG) Concordia teamed up to bring a special edition of the jam. Game makers were encouraged to create games addressing questions around sustainability, socio-ecological systems, mental health, waste, social economy and commons. These are our special local diversifier.
Place to B Canada
In summer 2016, the Sustainability Action Fund is hosting a residency program in collaboration with Place to B Canada during the World Social Forum (August 9th to 16th). Through this program, six (6) Concordia students were given the opportunity to explore how communication and design can be used as tools for social change.
