The Loyola Summer Farmers Market’s goal is to bring local, sustainable food to the west end of Sherbrooke, where little grocery stores and restaurants exist. This project’s aims is to: create diversity in food, accessibility to healthy and local foods and other goods, enable economic development for low-income surrounding communities including the Student Residences, and build relationships between Concordia students, faculty, and staff, and their surrounding communities.
