This year, CUBES would like to host a seminar/training for Engineering students looking for practice for the LEED Green Associate (GA) credential. This LEED credential is an internationally accepted rating system for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED). CUBES has been in contact with a UofT Alumni (through LeadingGreen) who hosts training programs across Eastern Canada/US,  and booked him for the weekend of March 22-23, 2014.

The overall goal of the project is to offer a crash course for students at a discount price. This course will allow students to explore the wonders of sustainable design and open their minds to changing their habits at school, work and home.  It will encourage critical thinking amongst the students which is not taught in their everyday classes.

Years funded: 2013-14

Amount allocated: $3000.00
