Our project, “Breathing Games,” invites participants to contribute to a commons (community-based initiatives such as Wikipedia) that fosters respiratory health. Bringing together students, scholars, researchers, physicians, artists, and engineers, the funds received will enable this project to organize key events in the commons. Additionally, we will hold game jams (interdisciplinary prototyping events in which technological prototypes can be developed over a weekend) to collectively create educational games and hardware about respiratory health.
