Allégo was a sustainable transportation working group of Sustainable Concordia, which worked in collaboration with both Concordia’s Facilities Management and Sustainable Concordia to promote alternatives to private car transportation in the Concordia community. Its goal was to make the streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and carpoolers.

Funding was allocated to Allégo in support of the Commuter Habit Survey, a piece of original research which considered the many ways in which members of the community get to school or work, and where they are coming from. The conclusions of this report, which can be read here, was to be used in the coming years to help orient Concordia’s actions which will promote more sustainable transportation options and accessibility.
